FLOSS Manuals is a platform for the collaborative development of user
friendly manuals for Free Libre Open Source Softwares (FLOSS). It is a
multilingual platform, and designed to be easy to use, using adapted
existing
technologies (TWiki) the interface allows for the rapid development of
documentation with a minimal threshold for learning how to use the
mechanism.

FLOSS Manuals aims to fill the gap between newbie and geek as much as
possible to get you started with great FLOSS software as fast as
possible on any platform.
Manuals have also a clear icon language, and can be viewed online or
taken away in PDF format. The ability to remix manuals will be added as
part of the Digitale Pioniers funding support as well as other
functionality. The
manuals are aimed at individual users, NGOs, trainers, and educational
institutes with the aim to bridge the gap between ideology,
functionality, and utility.
