Trading Mercator Stories

Trading Mercator Stories is a new edition of a project that started in Dublin, Ireland and which worked with location based storytelling. In the Amsterdam neighbourhood ‘De Baarsjes’ Trading Mercator Stories cooperated with youth organisations from around. Within the project adolescents have been given several workshops which contains storytelling and video projects. With that given knowledge they made a media image of their neighbourhood that was shown by a platform that Trading Mercator Stories gives. At this way adolescents take part in image and opinion making of their own neighbourhood within the media.

Final products

Within the project common known software was used and developed for a larger platform.
