What is Woophy
Woophy is an online photography and travel community based on a large zoom-able map of the world filled with digital images shot by its members. By means of a comprehensive database application participants can easily add photo’s to the map on the position the photo was shot. The whole application and connection with the database was developed especially for Woophy.
Currently Woophy has 9,300 members, 110,000 photo’s uploaded of 13,500 villages and cities in the world. Woophy attracts monthly about 80,000 unique visitors and the pictures online are viewed about 2,2 million times each month (altogether).
