WORMstation
is a community based webplatform based on Open Source Software and shared
licences. WORMstation offers adventurous video and sound art for and by artists and their audience. It is a virtual meeting place for like minded people, a treasure island for discovery travelers. Modern art is heaping up in archives. At the same time culture products don't find their way to the market. Information technology offers new ways to present audiovisual material that was thought to be lost to a larger crowd.
WORM wants to make studioproductions, registrations and live events, video and music aivailable.
Final products
The development of WORM.station is a first stap towards a streamkit
for general user. Serverconfiguration, CMS and editable front end van be offered through a download or cd-rom. People who want to stream in the future can start a webtv or radio station through an out-of-the-box installation against minimal costs.
